TBA's Degree Certification
If you would like to inquire about the certification of Baduk degree for your level, you must submit the application to Traditional Baduk Association's office. After TBA has reviewed your submitted application, we will guide you on how to obtain your certification.
Procedures:
1. Submit an application
2. Must attend examination room which requires a password
4. Simply play the baduk game with someone who is already certified by TBA. You must play with someone who is at your current level or higher. If you play someone higher than you, you will be given the appropriate handicap and adjustments.
You have to play 10 games. In order to advance to the next level, you must win 8 out of the 10 games. Also, you need to play those 10 games in a row, taking no longer than a week total. If you lose any less than 8 games, then you will be demoted one level. If you lose all 10 games you will go back 4 levels.
Once you have completed the games, your record will remain in our system and your system to match authentification. Once you have checked your record you should re-submit it again by completing the online notification. This is the same form which is displayed under this page. This allows TBA committees to review your status.
Two weeks after you submit the completion, we will inform you by e-mail or you may check your status by checking our Ranking page.
You will be E-mailed by the TBA for the completion of your rank within 48 hours. Your Certification Diploma will be mailed to you 2 weeks after you have received your E-mail notification. You can promote yourself without certification with our organization. However, If you want to certify your baduk degree officially, you must apply with fee paid.
TBA's Grade Certification - Any grades are not subject to certifications unless player wants to have as personal preference.
